Letter of Engagement - Clean Across Nova Scotia

To our fellow Nova Scotian,

Clean Nova Scotia wants you to join us as part of our two day, province-wide cleanup, Clean Across Nova Scotia, taking place April 19 and 20, 2013. Last year, nearly 8,000 Nova Scotians demonstrated that they share our dream of a clean and beautiful province by participating in the inaugural Clean Across Nova Scotia cleanup. We’re confident that there are thousands more ready to be engaged, to clean up their neighborhoods and to create a litter free Nova Scotia.

Clean Across Nova Scotia is looking for your participation by organizing a cleanup in your area and spreading the word amongst your constituents. Please encourage others to join you in showing their commitment to help build stronger, cleaner communities in Nova Scotia.

Clean Across Nova Scotia was built on the success of the Great Nova Scotia Pick-Me-Up, a litter abatement program run by Clean Nova Scotia for over two decades. Inspired by the cleanup movement, Let’s Do It!: World, Clean Nova Scotia recognized an opportunity to be part of waste solutions on a global level. Clean Across Nova Scotia was created and launched as part of the World Cleanup 2012 initiative, as well as becoming Nova Scotia’s largest province-wide cleanup event ever.

We want you and your community to be part of something big on April 19 and 20, 2013. Please help us to spread the word and reach as many Nova Scotians as possible. Registration is available online at www.cleanacrossns.ca. Your cleanup can be as ambitious as you’d like – we need all kinds of efforts to effect change.

We look forward to collaborating with you.

Sincerely,

Neil Bailey nbailey@clean.ns.ca (902) 420-3474 Program Coordinator, Clean Across Nova Scotia
